Crazyhead is British, but very like an American TV show: irreverant, action-y, and derivative. There is a little more character development than expected, if you can count soulful looks and actors staring up and to the right to project “I’m in pain”. Imagine Supernatural with women who make masculine jokes, then you’re almost there.

Two special young women, who can see when someone is possessed by a demon, are targeted by said demons out of fear of exposure. So, forget jobs or a normal life, our heroines have to go around defending themselves or figuring out who the big bad is. It is funny, though, and entertaining. It’s a quick series–just 6 episodes–going a long way toward making it watchable. Is this one gonna change the world or even your view of it? Nah.

Was it worth it? Sure, with low expectations.
